ANOTHER GOLF OPPORTUNITY!
The LPGA is coming to Northwest Arkansas September 7-13, 2009. Purchase your week long tournament pass from the Children's Shelter, and you'll not only be buying a week's worth of great golfing entertainment, you'll be helping children who are victims of abuse and neglect. "WORK BEGINS!" After months (and yes, even years) of planning and preparation, work has finally begun at the site of the new Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter! In June, men and heavy equipment laid the new sewer line which will connect the Shelter to the Highfill sewer system. Dirt work is set to begin later this summer.
