Tim comes to the Shelter from Clarinda, Iowa, and brings over 10 years experience serving the needs of children at risk.
Tim received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from the University of Northern Iowa, and has completed many hours of Public Policy graduate course work from the same institution.
He has worked in the field of child welfare in several capacities, including direct care worker at a shelter, child abuse investigator in the state of Florida, and Executive Director of Jasper County Youth Services. He has also been actively involved in several child welfare committees and has successfully lobbied state legislators for proactive legislation regarding children at risk of abuse and/or neglect. Before coming to the Children’s Shelter, he served as Director of the Clarinda Campus of Iowa Western Community College.
Tim and his wife Christian, along with their 3 children Ryan, Maison and Addie Grace moved to Northwest Arkansas from Clarinda, Iowa, in December 2007, at which time Tim assumed his position with NWACS.
Shannon Campbell is from Yellville, Arkansas. She graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Shannon and her husband Billy moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1995 and began working for the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter that same year.
Shannon has worked in many areas of the Shelter: childcare worker, activities coordinator, volunteer coordinator, and program director. She is currently the director of operations.
Shannon has always had a passion to work with children and to help make a difference in their lives. She feels that working at the Shelter is a very rewarding experience. Not only does she have an opportunity to see the positive changes in the children but she also feels privileged to work with an excellent team of staff members that strive every day to make a difference.
Linda is a native of Rogers, Arkansas, and was hired in November 2009 to lead the fundraising and advancement efforts for the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter. Linda brings over eleven years of experience in fundraising and development, volunteer coordination, and special events management to the Shelter.
Most recently, Linda served as a Fundraising Manager for the Mercy Hospital Foundation. She has also completed training through the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy Institute at the University of Wisconsin School of Business. Linda also received an Honorable discharge after serving four years in the Missouri Air National Guard.
Linda is currently active in Rogers Noon Rotary Club, and the Northwest Arkansas Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Renee’ is an Allentown, Pennsylvania native and moved to northwest Missouri at the age of nine. She was raised in a small rural community about an hour north of Kansas City until she graduated from high school. She moved with her family to Memphis, Tennessee and began her working career with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a data specialist in the data processing field. She left Memphis in 1986 as her husband’s career took them to Atlanta, Georgia; Ruston, Louisiana and finally to NW Arkansas in 1991. Renee’ and her husband co-owned and operated two small market radio stations in southwest Missouri and eastern Oklahoma until 2002.
Renee’s involvement with the Children’s Shelter began in 1999 in a volunteer capacity working on the inaugural NWACS Golf Classic tournament. She began working for the Shelter in May 2000 as a part time bookkeeper. Renee’s status changed to full time in the spring of 2004 as the Director of Finance and Human Resources.
Renee’ lives in Rogers and has been married for 26 years to Jeff. They have two children, Amanda who is 22 and Tyler who is 12 years old.
Frankie Rankin - Annual Giving Manager Frankie was born and raised just outside of Little Rock, AR (in Ferndale). She moved to Fayetteville in 1995 to attend the U of A where she graduated in 2000 with a BA in psychology. Frankie loved NW AR and so she decided to stay in the area. Frankie met her husband Pete while she was in college and they got married in1999. Their son, Buckley was born Nov. 24th 2004.
Frankie started working at the Shelter in March 2002 as a child care worker. She instantly loved working with the kids and the feeling that she was making a difference in their lives. Frankie was promoted to day shift supervisor in the spring of 2003 and she enjoyed that she was able to not only work hands on with the residents, but was also able to work more with the public.
Frankie became the Volunteer Coordinator in January 2007, then assumed the position of Annual Giving Manager in March 2009.
Eva is originally from Bergman, Arkansas, but she has lived in Fayetteville since 2003. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She married her husband, Aaron Crouch, in 2010.
Eva started at the shelter in 2005 as a childcare worker and was then promoted to a position in the on-site school in 2006 where she stayed until becoming the Volunteer Coordinator in March of 2009. Eva enjoys not only working with the children and having the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives, but she also enjoys working with the community members who strive to ensure a brighter future for the children who reside at the shelter.
