You can help make a difference in the life of a child!

Volunteer

Volunteers play an important role at the Children’s Shelter by enabling us to improve the quality and quantity of the services and programs we offer our children. A volunteer’s willingness to accommodate and assist is uplifting and refreshing to staff members who are trying to be in two places at once. Volunteers allow us to get more accomplished in a day, and they do it because they know they are making a difference.

The volunteer program began in July 2000. The program was developed to help enhance the quality of services at the shelter. It has been astounding to see the tremendous number of hard working, caring and supportive people in Northwest Arkansas. The program has grown significantly in the number of volunteers and the number of hours they have contributed.
